How much does a meal at Maison Devaux cost?
Three menus to choose from: Tasting at €40 (a starter, a main and a dessert), Balance at €65 (two starters, two mains and two desserts) and Bespoke at €75 (the monthly menu in nine dishes). Wine pairing is €20 per person. See the menu of the month.
What are the opening hours?
Wednesday to Saturday, 12.30 to 2.30 pm and 7.30 to 9.30 pm. Sunday, 12.30 to 3.30 pm. Closed on Sunday evening, Monday and Tuesday.
How do I book a table?

Does the menu change often?
Yes, every month. The chef builds it around the seasons, with produce from the Landes and Gascony and the farmers we work with. See past menus.
Can you adapt the menu for allergies or special diets?
Yes. The menu always includes a vegetarian starter and a vegetarian main. We can also adapt the menu for a gluten-free meal or for pregnant women. Just let us know when you book.
Can I bring my own wine?
No, wines and champagnes are served by the house only. For a group birthday, we can prepare a cake at an extra charge.
Can I book the whole restaurant or come as a group?
Yes, for a family meal, a birthday or a company lunch or dinner. Get in touch and we will suggest a tailored package. Bookings and private events.
Can I give a meal at Maison Devaux as a gift?
Yes. We offer gift vouchers for each menu from €45, and a gift card from €30 to €1,000. The voucher is emailed right after payment, or on the day of your choice, and is valid for one year. Give a gift voucher.
Do you cater for weddings and events?
Yes, across the Landes and South-West France: weddings, private receptions and corporate events. Proposals start from €75 per person. Request a quote.
Do you offer cooking classes?
Yes, in small groups of 4 people, in the restaurant kitchen: 4 hours with chef Mathis Devaux, tasting included. See the cooking classes.
What awards has the restaurant received?
Maison Devaux was awarded the MICHELIN Guide Bib Gourmand in 2024 and 2025. Maison Devaux in the press.
Where is the restaurant and is there parking?
At 70 rue du Commerce, 40370 Rion-des-Landes, between Dax and Mont-de-Marsan. There is a large car park right opposite the restaurant with plenty of spaces.
